Arthritis refers to the condition that causes inflammation and damage to the joints and their connective tissue. Osteoarthritis is seen primarily, but not exclusively in the elderly. It mostly effects weight bearing joints and the hands with destruction of cartilage followed by the formation of bone spurs in the joints. The spurs cause limited motion and pain. There is generally very little inflammation associated with Osteoarthritis.

Rheumatoid Arthritis is more common in younger people, most commonly beginning at about age 20. Rheumatoid arthritis is usually detected by stiffness and pain with swelling from significant inflammation. It may be relapsing with bouts of swelling coming and going until over time chronic inflammation causes the joints to be deformed. Rheumatoid arthritis is believed to be an autoimmune disease, meaning the immune system is attacking the joints. Attack is primarily focused on the synovial lining which acts as a lubricant within the joint.

Kordel’s Mobileaze is a unique, combination of Nature’s anti-inflammatories including Evening Primrose Oil, Marine Oil, Vitamin E, together with Celery, White willow Bark and Devil’s Claw herbs.

Evening Primrose Oil and Marine Oil

Alpha-linolenic acid (ALA), an omega-3 oil, and gamma-linoleic acid (GLA), an omega-6 oil, are naturally occurring fats that have been shown to have anti-inflammatory effects.

ALA is found naturally in foods including flaxseed oil, fruits, vegetables and legumes, as well as in sardines and other oily fish.

While GLA is much harder to absorb through the diet as it doesn't occur in common foods, it is present in supplements such as black currant oil, evening primrose oil, borage oil and fish oils. (GLA supplements should be avoided if you are or may be pregnant, as they may increase the risk of miscarriage.)

Devils Claw

Devil’s claw has been widely used in Europe as a treatment for alleviating arthritic pain symptoms. Cat’s claw is native to the rain forests of South American where it is used in folk medicine for intestinal complaints, gastric ulcers, arthritis, and to promote wound healing. Alkaloids and other constituents, such as glycosides, may account for its anti-inflammatory and antioxidant actions.

The french government allows the sales of the herb as a folk remedy for painful joints and clinical trials in China and France suggest the devil’s claw maybe effective in relieving pain and inflamation in osteoartritis and rhematoid arthritis.

Devil's Claw was found in a German study to be as effective as the prescription drug Phenylbutazone for the pain and inflammation of arthritis. It may also be of value in Gout since it lowers uric acid levels.

Celery

Celery Seed and Celery Seed oil have recent but fairly strong histories of folk use in Europe as Antirheumatic agents and have become popular antirheumatic products in Australia. Celery seed is also listed as a traditional antirheumatic herb by the British Herbal Pharacopoeia. There is also evidence that water extracts from celery stalks have significant anti-inflammatory effects in animals.

Willow Bark

Many medicinal herbs for pain contain the salicylates form which asprin is made.

Based on centuries of use and modern clinical trials, willow bark is weaker than asprin but has far fewer side effects, including less gastric bleeding
